BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Gennadzi Shostak

Gennadzi holds directorship position in a number of manufacturing and service companies in Belarus including Chairman of the country's leading packaging company. An entrepreneur for more than 20 years, he has extensive experience in Belarus and across the CIS. In addition to his board positions, he dedicates time to the development of new capital investments projects in Belarus. Gennadzi holds a senior partner position in Belarusian investment company EnterInvest and speaks both Russian and English.

Yuri Galdukevich

Yuri has 20 years of experience of building and developing businesses throughout the CIS. An engineer by training, he commenced his career building a computer part import and manufacturing business. Later he developed a heavy machinery distribution business with clients across the CIS. In 2001 Yuri launched a packaging and composites manufacturing business, which has now grown into the largest regional company of it type. He currently holds a position as senior partner in the Belarusian investment firm EnterInvest and board positions in several companies including a geothermal energy service provider. He speaks Russian, German and English.

Anton Shihoff

Anton is a partner at the Irish investment firm - Altostrata Energy, a company specialising in the financing of clean technology companies. Prior to this, he was the VP corporate development for Finavera Renewables, a renewable energy technology and project developer, helping to build the company from a start-up to a listed company with a market capitalisation in excess CAD$ 100 million. During this time he also consulted to Longview Capital Partners, a listed Canadian investment bank, helping them to establish their cleantech investment platform. At the start of his career Anton developed two technology start-ups both of which were successfully sold to trade buyers. He presently sits on the board of Chilean hydropower developer - Hydroventura Chile S.p.A. and the advisory board of US based Renewable Energy technology developer - Principle Power Inc.

Tom Bartos, Legal Advisor

Tom is a partner and general counsel at Bell Capital Partners a specialist debt finance firm based in London, prior to this, as a Senior Legal Director at Barclays Capital, Tom had been involved in the funding of numerous cross-border emerging market deals. He has extensive experience in structuring across a range of asset classes and sectors and has been counsel for the bank’s new product approval process. Tom was also responsible for the establishment and development of Barclays Capital's operations in Moscow. Prior to Barclays Capital he worked as a solicitor for Clifford Chance LLP in the Debt & Equity Capital Belarusian Market advising on bond issues and other financings for corporates, sovereigns, and financial institutions. He commenced his career with Minter Ellison within Commercial and Litigation. Tom has a Master of Laws (LLM) – Cambridge, England and 1st class honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – Australian National University.

Jonathan Bensted, Technical Advisor

Jonathan is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer specialising in power plant development and construction, with his work in this field focused primarily around the feasibility and design. Commencing his career in the engineering, management and delivery of infrastructure projects, Jonathan then went on to help establish the Renewable Energy division at Black & Veatch, UK. While there, he undertook numerous in-depth technical and economic studies for a range of clients including multinational's, investors, as well as the UK Government. He is a founder of Hydroventura - a renewable energy project developer, building the company from a concept to a portfolio of projects over a period of three years, and is currently working on the first 14MW of 47MW landfill gas site. Jonathan is holds a Master of Engineering Science from Oxford University and is fluent in English and Spanish.
